Petty competed in 427 races and won 54 times throughout his career, which concluded in 1964. He’s also a three-time NASCAR Cup Series winner, with victories in 1954, 1958, and 1959. He is a member of the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and the NASCAR Hall of Fame, among other honors.
Jeff Gordon
